Edward P. Weinsoff, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer
Ed is Chief Financial Officer of the Kenneth Rainin Foundation and a member of its Investment Committee. Prior to joining the Foundation in 2009, Ed was Senior Vice President and CFO of Rainin Instrument, LLC, a manufacturer of scientific instruments and a major subsidiary of Mettler-Toledo (NYSE: MTD). He served in the same capacity at its predecessor, Rainin Instrument Co., Inc., where he worked with the Foundation’s founder, Kenneth Rainin, for 25 years. During his time at Rainin Instrument, Ed was responsible for all financial, tax, administrative operations, mergers, acquisitions and new company start-ups, including the sale of Rainin Instrument to MTD in 2001.
Ed has a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Bentley University, is a Certified Public Accountant and has served on the Board of Directors of various privately held companies.
