Pamela Bentley, PhD, Program Associate, Health
Dr. Pamela Bentley is the Kenneth Rainin Foundation’s Program Associate for Health. She contributes to the Health Program goal of empowering researchers in the field of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).
Prior to joining the foundation, Pamela served as a project manager for the Rehabilitation Robotics Laboratory at the University of Alberta where she coordinated research activities including web-based monitoring of patients with chronic disease and the use of virtual reality in biomedical applications.
Pamela’s scientific interests lie in understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying physiology and disease. Pamela holds a PhD in the field of molecular biology from the University of Alberta as well as a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont.
