SF360: Social Justice Filmmaking Grants Announced

A series of annual grants totaling $3 million for narrative feature films being made in the San Francisco Bay Area will be distributed over the next five years by the San Francisco Film Society and the Kenneth Rainin Foundation, the Film Society announced today.
The grants run from 2009-13, and will be awarded in the spring and fall of each year. In 2009 there will be two $35,000 grants, and the amounts awarded will increase dramatically in the following years, to $864,000 by 2013. View article.
