Oakland, CA – The Kenneth Rainin Foundation announced today that it has awarded $457,000 in grants this year to support education and the arts in the San Francisco Bay Area. The first two grant cycles were designed to address the Foundation’s mission to enhance quality of life by promoting equitable access to a baseline of literacy and enabling inspiration through the magic of the arts.
