Jose Luis Flores is the Director of Investments & Portfolio Operations for the Kenneth Rainin Foundation. He oversees the financial, legal, tax and reporting operations of the Foundation’s investments and private trusts. He also works to assess needs and provide guidance to maintain long-term growth.
Jose is committed to the continued financial success and sustainability of the Foundation. He brings over 20 years of financial experience having worked in various investment and analyst roles. In 1999, he became an investment manager at Rainin Group, a company established by our founder, Kenneth Rainin. For nearly a decade, he was also a personal investment manager for Mr. Rainin, providing analysis, recommendations and portfolio management for investment trusts. He also served as an investment manager for Rainin Instrument/Mettler-Toledo Rainin, a manufacturer of scientific and lab instruments.
Jose holds an MBA with the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley and earned a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification.
