A new project commissioned by the Asian Art Museum that explores the talismanic power of dance through a multidisciplinary ritual performance. Over the next year, a series of workshops examining a cross section from the Museum’s collections will offer the rare opportunity to critically reassess the ways these pieces have been interpreted, renegotiate our relationships to the institution and explore how Pilipino Americans might build artistic tools to unravel the wounds of colonialism.
