A fan letter to the poet nun of Mexico whose prolific work as a scholar, poet and playwright in the 17th century garnered her both recognition and censorship. This original bilingual (Spanish/English) script seeks to amplify unrepresented voices and foster dialogue around themes of censorship, identity, body autonomy and whose voices are permitted to center public discourse.

A multi-disciplinary piece exploring the toll of climate grief, especially on disabled communities who are often on the frontlines of climate disasters and the first to be abandoned or rendered disposable. This performance will explore the complex interconnections and ultimately give rise to a vision for a livable future, shaped by the resourcefulness and resilience that is required of disabled people every day to ensure survival.

A piece conceived in and for a COVID and post-COVID world, exploring the nature of our relationship to the character of light, home and the passage of time – through the collection of a year-long data time-lapse of spectral footprint (or color) of light in homes worldwide. The data will be transformed into a live visual, music and physical installation piece to answer the question – what is the color of domestic light?

In Cross-Polliination an interdisciplinary cohort of deaf and deaf-blind electrical engineering and dance students will deconstruct and apply strategies of deaf communication through dance, design and interactive technologies to explore new modes of communication.
