2026 Symposium
Our 2026 Symposium brought 160 researchers from across the globe to San Francisco to share research findings, engage in dialogue and spark new ideas and collaborations. From how cells interact in the gut to the gut-brain connection to how we can harness artificial intelligence to predict patients who will develop Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), seasoned scientists and early career researchers alike shared how they’re pushing the field forward.
2025 Symposium
Our 2025 Symposium returned to Hawai`i. It was enriched by a sense of community and shared purpose that rekindled passion and seeded collaborations. The natural beauty on O`ahu offered researchers respite and rejuvenation at a time when science and research funding are under attack.
2024 Symposium
Our 2024 Symposium drew 160 researchers, clinicians and industry professionals to San Francisco for two days of exchanging ideas and networking. The gathering was marked by fresh insights, cutting-edge ideas and inspiring messages to accelerate improvements to patient health and well-being.
2023 Symposium
Coming together in person again for the first time since 2019 energized our 2023 Innovations Symposium. Attendees’ enthusiasm for face-to-face conversations animated our twice-daily poster and networking sessions, which play an important role in seeding new ideas and collaborations.
