The Civic Center Community Benefit District (CCCBD) improves and promotes San FranciscoÕs historic Civic Center through a host of planning, policy and public programming initiatives. The San Francisco Planning Department collaborated with Gehl to conduct a Public Space & Public Life Study of Civic Center, incorporating focus groups and an on-site survey of over 400 individuals to inform the analysis of existing conditions in the area.
The Kenneth Rainin Foundation enhances quality of life by championing the arts, promoting early childhood literacy, and supporting research to cure chronic disease.
