Grantee Portal
The Kenneth Rainin Foundation is proud to support Bay Area artists, early childhood educators and families in Oakland, and Inflammatory Bowel Disease researchers worldwide. Grantees can access GivingData, our grants management system, to complete applications or reports, upload signed award documents and more.
The Kenneth Rainin Foundation invites organizations to announce grants from us in written materials or online publications and on social media. We have created guidelines and distinct logos for our grantees to use in communications about their awards. If you are unsure about the type of grant you received, please refer to your grant agreement letter or contact our Grants Management Team, for assistance.
Core Program Grants
The Kenneth Rainin Foundation’s main three giving areas are Arts, Education and Health. Our core program grants support Bay Area artists to thrive, Oakland children to read and succeed, and innovative research to improve the lives of people with Inflammatory Bowel Disease. The Kenneth Rainin Foundation provides a limited number of invitation-only discretionary awards each year. These funds allow individuals within the Rainin Foundation to direct a grant to a chosen nonprofit organization, and they may fall outside of our core giving areas and approaches. View the communications guidelines and download the unique discretionary award logo.
The Kenneth Rainin Foundation enhances quality of life by championing the arts, promoting early childhood literacy, and supporting research to cure chronic disease.
