Our lab is part of the center of Protein-Diagnostics. It develops a label-free Digital Pathology approach that allows automated and observer-independent classification of tissue thin sections. By integration of microdissection, samples from the regions of interests, which are label-free spatially resolved identified, are collected and then analyzed by omics methods to provide beside spatial also molecular resolution. Thereby protein biomarkers are identified for early diagnosis of cancer and neurodegenerative diseases in body fluids.
