The Thaiss lab strives to develop new therapies for human diseases by transforming our understanding of host-environment interactions. Their focus is on the environment impacts on human physiology, the sensory mechanisms by which the human body reacts to changes in environmental conditions, and the impact of environmental sensory pathways on inflammatory diseases.
