Associate Professor of Biological Engineering and Electrical Engineering and Computer Science

Our group is focused on advancing fundamental designs and applications for synthetic biology. Inspired by electrical engineering and computer science, we are developing new techniques for constructing, probing, modulating, and modeling engineered biological circuits. Our current application areas include microbiome engineering, targeted antimicrobials, and next-generation cell therapies for inflammatory bowel disease and cancer.
