The Kenneth Rainin Foundation is pleased to announce the promotion of Alexandria (Alex) Featherston-Gomez to Grants Officer and Victoria Pozzato to Investment Operations Analyst. Both positions are vital to the Foundation’s mission to help artists thrive, promote early childhood literacy and support Inflammatory Bowel Disease research.
Alex joined the Foundation in 2017 and has worked on the Grants Management Team since 2020. She played an integral role in adopting GivingData, our grants management system. As Grants Officer, she will serve as the GivingData administrator, ensuring efficient processing across all phases of the grant lifecycle. She will also provide grantmaking trend analysis and data visualization across our three giving areas.
“Since arriving at the Rainin Foundation, Alex has demonstrated her leadership abilities, using her love of technology to embrace innovative solutions,” said Miyesha Perry, Director of Grants Management. “Alex has also demonstrated a deep commitment to the Foundation and to ensuring that our grantees have access to the tools and services they need. I am thrilled by her advancement.”
Victoria Pozzato joined the Foundation’s Investment Team in 2019. During her tenure, she has supported the Chief Investment Officer, the Investment Team and its operations. She established workflow processes and coordinated interdepartmental efforts that kept the team’s priorities aligned with Foundation-wide strategies.
“Victoria has proactively advanced her skill set and role to meet the evolving needs of the Investment Team,” said Ross DeMont, Chief Investment Officer. “She is deeply embedded in essential activities of the investment program and her promotion will strengthen her contributions to the Foundation.”
In her new role, Victoria will focus on refining investment data management processes, building relationships with current and prospective portfolio managers and contributing to the team’s continued Environmental, Social and Governance investing efforts.
