Coming together in person again for the first time since 2019 energized our 2023 Innovations Symposium. Attendees’ enthusiasm for face-to-face conversations animated our twice-daily poster and networking sessions, which play an important role in seeding new ideas and collaborations.
In 2022, we convened online again in response to continued public health concerns due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We welcomed students, academic and industry researchers, clinicians, funders and editors of science and health journals over three half days. Presentations were paired by intersecting themes.
Our 2021 Symposium convened online, allowing more people than ever to participate. This opened the door for students, post-docs and early career researchers to attend. Presenters offered new insights into big data and therapeutic approaches, intestinal immunology, and the microbiome and epithelial issues. The Rainin family and researchers also shared personal experiences with IBD.
The Kenneth Rainin Foundation enhances quality of life by championing the arts, promoting early childhood literacy, and supporting research to cure chronic disease.
