Grown Women Dance Collective uses the power of arts and wellness for social justice. Through chroeography that shifts the narrative on social issues, culturally grounded arts and wellness classes, and groundbreaking workforce development programs, they celebrate and build resilience, resistance, empowerment and joy. Their work reinvests creativity, wellness and wealth into disinvested communities, amplifies overlooked voices and strengthens their community’s ability to mobilize and challenge systemic injustices. They build collective power to create a just, joyful world where everyone is seen, heard and can dance and thrive.
