“Somos Maya Mam”

In collaboration with artists from Amplifying Sanctuary Voices and Voces Maya, East Bay Sanctuary Covenant will use development funds to prototype a portable, trilingual multimedia exhibit and storytelling initiative in Oakland. Led by Indigenous immigrant artists, “Somos Maya Mam” features the history, stories, art and culture of the Mam people.
