The Center for Cultural Power (The Center)

The Center for Cultural Power (The Center), led by Oakland artist Favianna Rodriguez, will be launched to help underrepresented artists—artists of color, artists with disabilities, and transgender, indigenous and women artists—build their practices, engage in social movements and overcome the barriers to success that these artists have faced. In turn, the artists will usher in new narratives that will transform the status quo.
