Jazmyne Woffard-Jones, Administrative Coordinator, is leaving the Kenneth Rainin Foundation effective April 30 to attend graduate school and become a special education teacher.
Over the past few years, Jazmyne has been a crucial partner, positive presence and valued member of the Administration Team. By managing our office space and introducing meaningful innovations and improvements to office systems, she has created a more seamless and organized workplace experience for all.
Jazmyne has also been instrumental in building and maintaining strong relationships with our partners who make our infrastructure and operations work. Beyond the immediate scope of her role, she also demonstrated leadership by facilitating meditation and other staff activities as part of our wellness initiatives. Her supportive and grounding contributions were felt across our entire organization.
“Jazmyne helped cultivate a more centered and intentional team culture and brought calm and grounding connection at a much-needed time. We will miss her and are also excited for her as she steps into this new opportunity. Jazmyne, you are a bright star, and we are grateful for all you have given to our organization,” said Lorena-Gomez Barris, Director of Administration and Workplace Experience.

We are so excited to see Jazmyne leverage and hone her powerful skill set and leadership in service of educating young people. Please join us in congratulating her as she pursues her next dream.
A Message From Jazmyne Wofford-Jones
I feel incredibly fortunate that I’ve been able to contribute to the organization’s mission in various aspects of my job. One of my favorite moments at the organization was supporting and meeting our grantees who came into the office because of the passion and deep care they had over their work. It feels incredibly good to say that I was a part of an organization whose work positively impacted my hometown, Oakland. Now, I’m ready to make additional contributions to my community through obtaining my master’s in special education. Thank you for everything, the Kenneth Rainin Foundation!
